Iran will teach the US a lesson should Washington want to obliterate yet another nation.

I seriously doubt that the US could utterly obliterate a country the size of Iran but I'm sure that Iran could literally obliterate a number of Washington's allies and mercenaries in the Middle East before its regime finally goes down.

Unfortunately for the US and Israel, Gulf states are too weak to serve as reliable allies in a war to obliterate Iran.

Iran is the type of country that the United States wouldn't be able to obliterate even with nuclear weapons. In fact, an attempt to obliterate Iran could drag the world into a world war of apocalyptic proportions and Washington seems to have realized that such a war isn't really worth the trouble.

It's virtually impossible to obliterate Iran.

The US and its mercenaries in the Middle East know very well that Iran is militarily capable of killing tens of thousands of their troops with its missiles, well-trained troops and well-armed Shiite militia across the region and I don't think that Washington and its allies want the world to witness the shattering of the myth of the "invincibility" of their armies. There is no doubt that Iran could be obliterated by dozens of nuclear bombs launched by US submarines and a nearby rogue state, but Tehran wouldn't go down without a fight of apocalyptic proportions. Fighting Iran militarily would show the world that the world's 1st and 4th militaries could lose tens of thousands of troops at a level never seen since World War II.

To obliterate Iran, you might need 200 nuclear bombs that could make planet Earth sick with radiations for decades to come. Is that worth it?

Iran could wipe out many nations in the Middle East and it's almost impossible to obliterate with conventional weapons. Therefore, you'd better not mess with it.

Iran has shown the United States and Israel that it's literally impossible to obliterate it.

The US has never attacked and annihilated a country as big as Iran. Americans can only obliterate tiny nations or weak and hungry nations like Iraq and Afghanistan.
